Mr.Kh.Tarunkumar, learned senior counsel assisted by
Ms.Kh.Maria, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by the present
petition, petitioner challenged the Office Memorandum dated 11.12.2023
whereby linking up of past service of contractual and other ad-hoc
employees were kept in abeyance and refers to decision of the Hon’ble
Supreme Court in the case of State of Himachal Pradesh & Anr Vs
Sheela Devi: 2023 Live Law (SC) 662 whereby the Hon’ble Supreme
Court held that past service of contractual employee is to be taken into
account for the purpose of pension.
Mr.Sukumar, learned Government Advocate submits that he
may be given some time to go through the decision cited by learned senior
counsel for the petitioner. Copy of the same has been furnished to learned
Government Advocate.
