Inder Mohan Singh, former Partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, has launched a boutique corporate advisory firm, IMS Lex Advisory.
Singh brings over three decades of experience in corporate law, including 17 years as General Counsel of a listed company and 19 years as an equity partner at the firm. His practice has focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, governance advisory, and promoter succession planning.
Over the course of his career, Singh has advised leading Indian corporates and multinational clients on a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and schemes of arrangement. His sectoral experience spans automotive, manufacturing, cement, technology and education.
He has also advised several promoter families on succession planning, including the structuring of family trusts, alongside corporate governance and control-related matters.
Through IMS Lex Advisory, Singh will focus on providing strategic, partner-led advice to promoters, boards, and senior management on corporate transactions, regulatory matters, and governance frameworks.
“Having spent over three decades in corporate law and governance, I recognised the need for a more focused, partner-led advisory model. IMS Lex Advisory is built to provide business-centric, solution-oriented counsel and to guide clients in navigating increasingly complex transactions, structures, and governance challenges,” Singh said.
Singh currently also serves as an Independent Director on the boards of Eicher Motors Limited and Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles Limited.
