About the Position
The Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology Surat invites applications for engagement of Legal Officer purely on contractual basis for one year initially which may be extended further for a period of one year subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate and requirement of the Institute.
Nature of engagement: Purely on contract basis for one year which may be extended further for one year based on performance of the candidate.
Method of Recruitment: Based on performance in the Interview.
Job Profile: –
- To assisting the Standing Counsels in handling the cases in the District/High Court/Labour Court.
- Preparing para-wise comments and documents required for filing replies.
- Drafting replies to the RTI Queries.
- Preparation of Charge sheets.
- Vetting MoUs/Agreements.
- Any other work as assigned from time to time.
Eligibility
- Essential Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from recognized Indian University.
- Desirable Qualifications & Skills: Master’s degree in Law (LLM) from recognized Indian University.
- Age Limit: Not more than 40 years as on last date of application.
