Milbank LLP partner Jacqueline Chan recently spoke on the “Headwinds or smooth sailing? Developments and opportunities in the Asian private equity market in 2026” panel at the International Bar Association’s Asia Pacific Mergers & Acquisitions Conference in Tokyo on April 9.
The panel discussed the overlapping and interdependent challenges shaping business opportunities for private equity funds in Asia and globally and how the markets have adapted to these challenges. The panel also covered the shifting focus of private equity funds in Asian markets, newfound opportunities and projected developments for 2026.
