                                                                          ... for the petitioners.

                                                                  Mr. Sourojit Dasgupta, Adv.
                                                                  Mr. Aniket Chaudhury, Adv.
                                                                 ... for alleged contemnor no.1.

        1. It is submitted on behalf of the alleged contemnors that the alleged

          contemnor nos.2, 3 and 4 have retired.

        2. It appears that the respondent no.2 has been served with the Rule

and the postal envelope containing the Rules addressed to the

respondent nos.3 and 4 have been returned ‘unserved’ as it appears

from the report filed by the learned Registrar, Original Side.

3. Learned Counsel for the alleged contemnor no.1 has referred to

paragraph 27 of the affidavit-in-opposition to show that the alleged

contemnor nos.2, 3 and 4 have retired on the dates mentioned in the

said paragraph.

4. The alleged contemnor no.1 shall disclose the names of the officers

and/or persons who have succeeded to the office of the alleged
2

contemnor nos.2, 3 and 4 by a letter addressed to the advocate-on-

record of the petitioner within one week from date. Upon disclosure

being made, the petitioner shall take appropriate steps to bring on

record the present incumbents.

5. It appears that the alleged contemnor no.1 left as it appears that the

Rule was not handed over to him formally in Court.

6. However, Mr. Aniket Chaudhury, advocate-on-record of the alleged

contemnor no.1 accepts such Rule on his behalf and affidavit in

answer to the Rule shall be filed within a fortnight from date.

7. The matter stands adjourned for three weeks.
