              UPON hearing the counsel the Court made
                         the following
                           O R D E R

1. The petitioner has been denied regular bail

by the High Court in connection with Crime

SPONSORED

No.325/2024 registered with Ambikapur Police

Station, District Surguja, for the offence

punishable under Sections 420, 464, 468, 471,

120-B of the Indian Penal Code (for short, “the

IPC”) and Sections 7 & 8, respectively of the

Chhattisgarh Gambling (Prohibition) Act. It

appears that Sections 66-C and 66-D of the

Information Technology Act (for short, “the IT

Act”) have also been invoked.

2. We heard Mr. Aditya Durgvanshi, the learned

counsel appearing for the petitioner and

Mr. Abhishek Pandey, the learned counsel appearing

for the State.

3. We take into consideration the following

aspects:-

(i) The investigation is over and

chargesheet has been filed.

(ii) All offences are Magistrate triable.

(iii) Other co-accused have already been

enlarged on bail by this Court.

(iv) No criminal antecedents.

4. In view of the aforesaid, the petitioner is

ordered to be released on bail forthwith, if not

required in any other case, subject to terms and

conditions that the Trial Court may deem fit to

impose.

5. The Special Leave Petition stands disposed of

accordingly.

6. Dasti permitted.

7. Pending application(s), if any, also stand

disposed of.
