The Petitioner, through the medium of this Petition, alleges
that he is aggrieved of the action of the Respondents, whereby the
residential accommodation of Quarter No.4 at Government Housing
Colony, Khanabal, Anantnag allotted to him has been sealed on 2 nd of
April, 2026 in his absence and without any prior notice or formal order of
eviction, thereby throwing him and his family on the roadside, alleging that
the action of the Respondents is in direct contravention of the mandatory
statutory safeguards enshrined under Sections 4 and 5 of the Jammu &
Kashmir Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1988
and that now a predated, as 12th of February, 2026, show cause notice has
been issued to the Petitioner.
