    2. Petitioners seek quashing of case FIR No. 224/2015 of PS Karawal
    Nagar for offence under Section 498A/406/34 IPC and Section 4 of Dowry
    Prohibition Act on the ground that the complainant de facto (respondent
    no.2) has compromised the disputes with the petitioners.

    3. The IO/ASI Vikram Singh submits that despite his repeated requests,
    the present petitioners have not provided him death certificate of mother of
    petitioner no. 1. But learned APP appearing through videoconferencing

    submits that not only the death certificate was supplied but the same has
    even been verified and verification report is already on record. It seems that
    the IO/ASI Vikram Singh is not aware of the matter. Learned APP for State
    also expresses anguish that the IO did not brief him.

    4. Be that as it may, since parties have not appeared today, in view of
    nature of these proceedings, matter be listed for recording of statement of
    parties before the concerned Joint Registrar on 20.05.2026.
