    1. The respondent, in his statement of facts, has submitted

    SPONSORED

    that the promotion of officials cannot be considered at

    this stage because of the poor financial health of the

    respondent Corporation.

    2. The order of the writ Court is clear, inasmuch as the

    respondents therein, have been directed to initiate the

    process for filling up of post of Work Supervisor falling

    in promotion quota within a period of two months from

    the date of last order. It admits of no exceptions.

    Therefore, if the respondent had any difficulty in

    implementing the said order, proper course for the

    respondent was to file an LPA against the order of the

    writ Court. Once the order of the writ Court has attained

    finality, the respondents have no option but to

    implement the same.

    3. In view of the above, the respondent is directed to

    implement the order of the writ Court in its letter and

    spirit failing which, this Court shall be compelled to

    initiate proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act

    against them.
