Ramdev vs State Of U.P. And Another on 30 March, 2026

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has prayed for a direction to set aside the order dated 04.06.2025 passed by Sessions Judge, Banda in Criminal Revision No. 50 of 2025 (Ramdev and others Vs. State of U.P. and another) as well as summoning order dated 07.09.2024 passed by Third Additional Civil Judge (J.D.)/Judicial Magistrate, Banda in Complaint Case No. 1748/XI of 2024 (Ramkishor Vs. Ramdev and others), under Sections 120-B, 423, 506 I.P.C., Police Station- Kotwali Nagar, District Banda.

3. Briefly stated, a complaint case was filed by the respondent against the present petitioner. The said complaint was registered as Complaint Case No. 1748/XI of 2024 (Ramkishor vs. Ramdev and others). An order under Section 204 Cr.P.C. was passed by the concerned Magistrate on 07.09.2024, whereby the petitioner along with other accused persons was summoned to face trial under Sections 120B, 423 and 506 IPC. The said order was challenged by the petitioner by filing Criminal Revision No. 50 of 2025 (Ramdev and others vs. State of U.P. and others). The revisional court also dismissed the revision and upheld the order dated 07.09.2024. Aggrieved by both the aforesaid orders, the petitioner has approached this Court under Article 227 of the Constitution of India.
