Being a part of Seshadripuram education trust with over 34 educational institutions, Seshadripuram Law College , established in 1984 has built a reputation as one of the premier institutions for legal education in India. About KSCDRC
Karnataka State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission is an autonomous, statutory and constitutional institution formed as a quasi-judicial body in Karnataka under Section 24-B of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 to protect the rights of consumers.
It is a system of alternate dispute resolution between conflicting parties during the process of trade. The president of the States Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission is appointed by the state government in consultation with the Chief Justice of state high court.
About the Workshop
This Workshop is being held on 11th April 2026, in collaboration with the Karnataka state consumer dispute resolution commission (KSCDRC) to explore consumer dispute resolution through the lens of the Consumer Protection Act and mediation techniques.
The program combines theory and practice by moving from legal foundations and ADR roles into interactive sessions with judges and seasoned mediators.
A central feature includes immersive simulations and mock mediation sessions, where students from colleges across Bengaluru apply collaborative problem-solving to real-world consumer conflicts.
