May 19, 2025 – July 4, 2025

To get this internship, I emailed them my CV and cover letter at hr.gargieyas@gmail.com

On the first day of my internship, I was given a brief about the working culture of the organisation by my internship coordinator, Priyanka ma’am. She also introduced me to other senior associates at the firm. However, I met our heads, Mr Mahendra Gargieya Sir and Devang Sir, on the next day.

The particulars about working on the remote desktop connection were communicated to me, and I was asked to read the SOP as to what work I am supposed to do and how.

The overall internship experience consisted of a diverse range of work, through which I was exposed to the wide field of taxation and the Income Tax Act.

The primary work is based on research, as we assist our seniors in researching various topics and case laws through platforms like Taxmann, Current Tax Online, Income Tax India, etc.

Major work I have done is on FEMA orders and judgments. Further, the other miscellaneous work included preparing paper book indexes for cases, reading important sections, case files, etc.

Also, in between, we had sessions with Devang Sir, wherein he explained to us the whole concept of this taxation regime in brief so that we could have a basic understanding of the field.

The best part about this internship was the familiar environment provided to me as an intern. All the associates and other employees at the organization were very supportive, interactive, and helpful. I could find myself involved in each and every work at the firm during my whole tenure.

The seniors guided us at each and every stage and left no space for ambiguity for us to adapt to this working culture.

To be honest, being in the 2nd year, I was almost nil on the concept of taxation, but after this tenure, I have had a better and true understanding and in-depth knowledge about the working of this field. If you are interested in working towards this taxation field, it is a great opportunity for you.

There is nothing bad that I could find in this internship. There were no major issues during the internship; however, the occasional unavailability of RDP access slightly affected continuity in work.

The certificate is provided at the end of the internship.

Accommodation is not provided; however, you can easily find PGs nearby here in Jaipur.

I learnt the workings of the corporate field and the difficulties and perks of adapting to this culture.
