How are the academic culture and faculty in your college?
The academic culture is very strict and disciplined. Attendance is compulsory, with little to no relaxation. Class timings are hectic, and assessments are frequent. Faculty members are qualified and knowledgeable, though the teaching style is rigid. The pressure is high, but it prepares students for professional discipline.

Rating: 3/5
Tell us about the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
Christ University, Delhi NCR, offers a wide range of co-curricular and extra-curricular opportunities through various societies, clubs, and student committees, especially those related to law, social work, research, and communication skills.
There are mooting societies, debate clubs, legal aid and social service committees, research and publication teams, as well as cultural and interest-based societies. Participation in these activities helps students develop important skills such as legal research, drafting, public speaking, teamwork, leadership, and time management.
Regular intra-college competitions, awareness drives, seminars, and guest lectures give students exposure beyond classroom learning and encourage holistic development.
However, the environment within some societies and committees can become highly competitive, and at times, slightly toxic due to favoritism, hierarchy, and pressure to outperform peers.
Not all committees are equally relevant for law students, and meaningful learning largely depends on choosing the right and active societies.
A few committees provide genuine exposure and skill-building opportunities, while others are more formal in nature with limited practical value. Balancing co-curricular activities with academics is also challenging due to the strict academic schedule and rigid policies, which leave little flexibility.
Despite these limitations, students who are proactive and selective about their involvement can gain significant professional exposure and personal growth.
Rating: 3/5
How are the placements in your college?
Placements and internships at Christ University, Delhi NCR, are largely student-driven, especially for law students.
The college does not provide extensive direct support for internships or placements, and most students are expected to rely on personal efforts, networking, seniors, alumni, and independent applications to secure opportunities.
Internships are commonly pursued under litigation advocates, law firms, NGOs, corporate legal departments, policy organisations, and research bodies, but these are primarily obtained through self-initiative rather than structured college assistance.
As a result, students who are proactive, consistent, and well-networked tend to perform better in securing internships and career opportunities.
Rating: 2/5
How are the hostels in your college?
The hostels at Christ University, Delhi NCR, offer good basic facilities, including clean rooms, regular maintenance, security, and essential amenities. The infrastructure is decent and suitable for students who prefer staying within campus premises.
However, hostel life is governed by very strict rules and timings. There is a biometric attendance system, fixed entry and exit hours, and strict monitoring of movement.
Any violations often result in fines or disciplinary action, which many students find restrictive and stressful. The rigid regulations leave very little personal flexibility and can feel overwhelming over time.
Due to these strict policies, many students prefer staying in PGs or other private accommodations outside the campus, as they offer more freedom, flexible timings, and a comparatively relaxed environment.
While off-campus accommodation requires better self-management, it is generally considered a more comfortable option by students who value independence.
Rating: 2/5
What are the best things you like about your college?
One of the best aspects of Christ University, Delhi NCR, is its strong focus on discipline and academic rigor.
- The strict schedules, attendance policies, and continuous assessments ensure that students remain consistent and serious about their studies.
- This structured environment helps in developing a strong work ethic, punctuality, and professional discipline, which are essential qualities in the legal profession.
- The university also offers good infrastructure, including well-equipped classrooms, a resourceful library, and clean campus facilities.
- Academic exposure through seminars, workshops, and guest lectures allows students to gain insights into the practical aspects of law.
- Additionally, the competitive peer group motivates students to push their limits, improve their skills, and remain academically engaged.
In your opinion, what are bad things about your college?
One of the major drawbacks of Christ University, Delhi NCR, is that the administration often feels not very supportive of students’ individual needs.
- The system prioritizes rules and uniformity over flexibility, which can make it difficult for students to voice concerns or seek accommodations during stressful academic periods.
- The university follows extremely strict guidelines, and even minor deviations frequently result in fines or disciplinary action.
- Rules related to attendance, hostel regulations, and daily conduct are enforced rigidly, sometimes creating an atmosphere of constant monitoring rather than trust.
- The dress code is very rigid, leaving little room for comfort or personal expression, and non-compliance often attracts penalties.
- Disciplinary committees tend to function in a manner that students perceive as largely authority-driven, with limited scope for student representation or explanation. This can create a sense of fear rather than correction, making students hesitant to express themselves freely.
- Another concern is the locality around the campus, which many students feel is not very safe or student-friendly, especially during late hours.
- Limited connectivity and surrounding infrastructure add to daily inconvenience and restrict social and professional exposure.
Anything else you want to share?
Christ University, Delhi NCR, may not be the ideal first preference for every law aspirant. It is better suited for students who are comfortable with a highly structured, rule-driven environment and can handle constant academic and disciplinary pressure.
Students seeking flexibility, a student-friendly administration, or strong institutional placement support may find the experience challenging.
How would you rate your college overall on a scale of 10?
