20.08.2025 in WRIT-A No.54216/2017 titled “Shiv Prakash vs.
State of U.P & Ors.” passed by the High Court of Judicature at
Allahabad.

4. Mr. Adarsh Upadhyay, learned Advocate-on-Record accepts
notice on behalf of the State of U.P.
5. The respondent(s) shall file their response indicating as
to whether the State of Uttar Pradesh has formulated any
litigation policy; the steps taken for effectively implementing
the same; the mechanism in place, for redressing the grievances
of the employees, more particularly, who are in the lowest rank
of hierarchy.
6. We notice that the instant petitioner has been pursuing his
remedies before different fora at least with effect from the
date when the petition was presented (1993), which led to the
passing of the Award by the Labour Tribunal dated 09.03.1999.
7. Reply positively be filed within two weeks. Rejoinder
thereto, if any, be filed within one week.
8. No further opportunity shall be granted for such purpose.
If the Affidavit is not filed before the next date of listing,
the Law Secretary, Department of Legal Affairs, Law and Justice
of the State shall remain present on the next date of hearing.
