Tell us about the infrastructure of your law college
The classrooms are well-maintained and equipped with good air-conditioning and basic teaching facilities. However, the number of classrooms is limited, due to which class timings are divided across different batches, making schedules inconvenient and sometimes exhausting.
Classrooms – 3/5
The library is one of the strongest aspects of the college. It has a good collection of academic and reference materials and provides a conducive study environment. That said, many expensive and core reference books are not available for home borrowing, which limits students’ effective access.
Library – 4.5/5
The college does not have its own sports ground. Sports facilities are arranged through a rented space at Noida Stadium, which makes regular participation difficult for many students due to distance and time constraints.
Sports Facilities – 2.5/5
Hostel accommodation is expensive and limited. There is no boys’ hostel, and the girls’ hostel facility is available only for the first two years, leaving senior students to arrange accommodation on their own.
Hostel Facilities – 2/5
While the academic spaces like classrooms and the library are fairly good, infrastructure constraints, lack of an in-house sports ground, and limited hostel facilities significantly affect student convenience and overall campus experience.

How are the academic culture and faculty in your college?
The college has an adequate number of faculty members, and most of them possess strong subject knowledge. However, the quality of teaching is not uniform, as some classes are engaging and helpful, while others rely more on rigid methods, which affects overall learning.
The academic environment is largely marks-oriented, with a heavy focus on internal assessments. There is a common perception that stricter marking is considered a measure of seriousness, which often creates unnecessary pressure and shifts attention away from understanding concepts.
Attendance rules are very strict, with a mandatory 75% attendance requirement and little flexibility. Even genuine medical reasons are rarely considered, making the policy stressful for students.
Class timings vary by year:
- 1st & 2nd Year: 9:15 AM – 2:00 PM
- 3rd Year: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- 4th Year: Around 2 hours in the morning
While manageable for some batches, frequent changes in schedules make academic planning difficult.
Overall, the college has the potential to offer a strong academic experience, but rigid attendance rules, uneven teaching quality, and excessive focus on internal marks limit student growth.
Suggestion: At present, strict internal marking and strong administrative alignment seem to be valued. However, placing greater importance on effective teaching, fair evaluation, and student mentorship would significantly improve the academic culture and overall learning experience.
How’s the peer quality in your college? Rate it on a scale of 5 with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest.
The peer quality in the college is quite good, with students coming from different states across India, creating a diverse and enriching learning environment. There is a healthy mix of students from outside regions as well as from Delhi and Noida, allowing for varied perspectives, cultures, and ideas.
Overall, the peer group is supportive, competitively healthy, and contributes positively to both academic and personal growth.

Tell us about the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
The college has clubs such as the Drama Club, Music Club, and Dance Club, which are active and provide creative outlets for students. The annual fest, Symfiesta, does take place, but the scale and quality of artists are fairly limited. Overall, campus social life remains average.
A major concern, however, is the heavy involvement of internal politics in club and committee selections. The same individuals often retain positions for multiple years, even when more capable and motivated students are available.
Selection processes lack transparency and merit-based evaluation, which discourages genuine participation and reduces opportunities for wider student engagement.
While co-curricular platforms exist, political favouritism and the lack of rotation in leadership roles significantly undermine their purpose and restrict student growth.
How are the placements in your college?
There is very limited transparency regarding placements and internships. The college does not provide clear or verifiable data on how many students secure jobs or internships, or the exact organizations where students are placed. The common reason cited is that senior students prefer not to disclose their placement details.
Although placement reports are released, they contain very general information and offer little practical insight into actual outcomes, such as roles, packages, or placement percentages. As a result, students largely depend on self-efforts and personal networking to secure internships and career opportunities.
Most students pursue litigation, judicial services preparation, corporate internships through self-applications, higher studies, or independent career paths, rather than relying on structured campus placements.
Overall, while opportunities do exist, the lack of transparency and concrete data makes it difficult to assess placement performance accurately.
How are the hostels in your college?
Hostel accommodation is limited and expensive. There is no boys’ hostel, and the girls’ hostel is available only for the first two years, which creates difficulty for senior students in arranging safe and affordable accommodation.
While the hostels are reasonably clean and provide basic facilities, the number of vacancies is limited, making it difficult for many students to secure accommodation.
Due to high costs and restricted availability, a large number of students are forced to rely on nearby private housing options.
Overall, the hostel facilities meet basic needs but lack inclusivity, affordability, and adequate capacity, which significantly affects student convenience and campus life.

What are the best things you like about your college?
One of the best aspects of the college is its location in Noida, which is easily accessible and well-connected. The classrooms are well-maintained and air-conditioned, creating a comfortable learning environment.
The academic structure is well-organized, with fixed schedules and timely communication—students usually receive the next week’s timetable by Saturday, which helps in planning ahead.
Additionally, some faculty members are truly excellent—they are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in students’ learning and growth. Their teaching and mentorship make a meaningful difference in the overall academic experience.
Overall, the location, structured academics, decent infrastructure, and a few outstanding teachers are the strongest positives of the college.
In your opinion, what are bad things about your college?
One of the major concerns is the Open House system, which is intended to provide a platform for student feedback but is not truly open and lacks accountability. Students often feel that their opinions are ignored, limiting their ability to influence academic or administrative matters.
There are very few clubs and societies compared to other colleges, reducing opportunities for students to explore diverse interests or take on leadership roles.
Additionally, some teachers show excessive loyalty to certain practices, affecting impartiality in teaching and assessment. The teaching approach often repeats the same content across years, limiting exposure to new ideas.
Students also feel that speaking up or challenging decisions is discouraged, which can suppress their voice and basic rights within the college.
Overall, while the college has its positives, more transparency, merit-based opportunities, diverse extracurricular options, and encouragement of student voices are needed to create a better learning environment.
Anything else you want to share?
All views shared are personal and based on my experience. Overall, the college is good, with decent infrastructure, strong academics, and a competitive peer group. However, some people in positions of power should be changed, and leadership roles need to be more fairly divided to give others a chance.
I have noticed that certain teachers show excessive loyalty to the director, which affects impartiality in teaching and internal evaluations.
Also, in clubs and committees, the same people often hold key positions year after year, which limits merit-based opportunities and wider participation.
A more transparent approach to leadership, fair evaluations, and encouraging student voices would make the college even better.
