About the Organization
The Mentorship Project (TMP) is a pro bono initiative dedicated to bridging the gap between law students and real-world legal experience. Our mission is to nurture the next generation of lawyers by connecting diverse talent with high-impact career opportunities.
To date, TMP has mentored over 2,000 law students and professionals across India. Our pool of 300+ mentors includes judges, civil servants, senior advocates, and law firm partners.
TMP’s impact is reflected in our mentees’ successes: 7 have been appointed as judges, 9 as Law Officers in PSBs, and many others placed at leading Tier-1 firms. We have also partnered with institutions like NLIU Bhopal, MNLU Aurangabad, and government bodies like the NDDLSA.
Eligibility
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. program at any recognized university in India.
- Strong interest in professional development and mentorship.
- Previous experience in college committees (Placement Cell, Moot Court Society, etc.) is preferred but not mandatory.
Main Responsibilities
- Bridge: Acting as the primary link between the student body at your law school and TMP.
- Promotion: Highlighting TMP’s Legal Internship Assistance Program and mentorship sessions to peers.
- Outreach: Facilitating the reach of TMP events, webinars, and flagship programs within your campus network.
- Coordination: Assisting in organizing academic collaborations and professional workshops on campus.
