interim relief.
Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner is
working as Peon. He was appointed by following due process of
law vide order dated 06.10.2023 and since then he is continuously
discharging duties up to the satisfaction of Respondent No. 4.
Petitioner was served with a letter dated 28.02.2026 that his
services be come to an end after one month from 31.03.2026
stating that funds are not available. The school in which petitioner
is posted is a government funded school and in similar facts of the
case interim relief has been granted in WPS No. 6566/2025.
Therefore, similar interim relief be granted to this petitioner also.
Learned State counsel submits that she will file reply to the
application for grant of interim relief also. She further submits that
the main relief of the petitioner is against Respondent No. 4.
On due consideration of the submission of learned counsel
for the respective parties, purely as an interim measure, it is
directed that the status quo with respect to posting of petitioner
shall be maintained by the parties till the next date of hearing.
List this case after four weeks.
