I applied through their website.

Orientation

During my internship, I assisted in legal research, drafting case briefs, notices, and basic pleadings. I observed court proceedings, supported seniors in case preparation, and maintained client files.

I also conducted statutory and case law analysis, prepared summaries, and gained practical exposure to professional ethics, office procedures, and courtroom practices under the guidance of advocates.

The work environment during my internship was professional, disciplined, and supportive. Seniors and associates were approachable and encouraged learning through guidance and feedback. The atmosphere promoted punctuality, teamwork, and ethical practice.

Exposure to real cases created a dynamic learning space, allowing me to develop practical skills, confidence, and professional conduct while adapting to a fast-paced legal environment.

The internship provided valuable practical exposure to real legal work, enhanced my research and drafting skills, and improved my understanding of court procedures. Guidance from experienced professionals helped me build confidence, discipline, and professionalism.

It also offered insight into workplace ethics, teamwork, and time management, making it a meaningful and enriching learning experience.

The internship involved long working hours and a fast-paced environment, which was sometimes physically and mentally demanding. Limited time for detailed explanations occasionally made learning challenging.

Routine clerical tasks sometimes reduced opportunities for substantive legal work, and adapting to strict deadlines required continuous effort and adjustment.

No Stipend.

Accommodation was not provided by the organisation. I arranged my own stay, which was comfortable and conveniently located near the workplace, ensuring timely attendance and an ease of daily commute during the internship period.
