National Socio-Legal Blog Writing Competition 2026 by RGNUL

About the Competition

The School of Social Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies (SSSIS) at the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab (RGNUL), is pleased to invite submissions for its inaugural National Socio-Legal Blog Writing Competition, organised in collaboration with the Chambers of Advocate-on-Record Pawan Reley and Manupatra.

Theme

The competition is centred around the theme “Contemporary Issues in Law and Social Sciences,” encouraging participants to engage critically with pressing legal and societal challenges through analytical and interdisciplinary perspectives.

Eligibility

The competition is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students across disciplines. Co-authorship is permitted for up to two authors.

Submission Guidelines

  • Word Limit: 1500–1800 words (excluding footnotes)
  • Original and unpublished submissions only
  • Strictly anonymous manuscripts (no identifying details)
  • Format: .doc/.docx
  • Citation Style: OSCOLA (4th Edition) with footnotes only

How to Submit?

Interested candidates can submit entries via the link given at the end of the post.

Deadline

The submission deadline is 31 March 2026, and the results will be announced on 7 April 2026.

Prizes

  • Top 2 Entries: Internship opportunities at the Chambers of Advocate-on-Record Pawan Reley
  • 3rd & 4th Entries: Internship opportunities with Manupatra
  • 5th Entry: Access to one certified course from Manupatra Academy
  • Top 7 Entries: Publication on the official SSSIS website + Certificate of Achievement
  • All Participants: E-Certificates
