About the Seminar/Conference
The First Edition of the International Labour Law Conference titled “New Labour Codes in India: Contemporary Issues, Implementation Challenges and Global Perspectives” aims to critically examine the transformation of India’s labour law regime through the introduction of the new Labour Codes (2019–2020), which are expected to be implemented from 2025.
The conference will provide an academic platform for scholars, policymakers, legal professionals, researchers, and industry experts to engage in discussions on the legal, economic, and policy implications of these reforms. It seeks to encourage scholarly dialogue and generate constructive suggestions for strengthening labour law governance in India.
