[1] Present Mr. Karung H Kom, learned counsel for the petitioner and
Mr. Y. Ashang, learned PP assisted by Mr. A. Bheigya, learned jr. Govt. counsel
for the State respondents.
[2] The petitioner approached this Court by way of this present
application being AB No. 28 of 2025 praying for releasing him on anticipatory
bail under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023. Since this Court did not grant any interim
protection to the petitioner and in order to facilitate the petitioner for undergoing
medical examination under Section 52 of BNSS including DNA test, if required,
this Court granted 20(twenty) days interim protection to the petitioners vide
order dated 18.12.2025. The said 20(twenty) days interim protection for
facilitating medical examination of the petitioner/accused is to start on his
appearance before the I.O. on 22.12.2025 and the interim protection has been
extended from time to time.
