i) The Plaintiff, being a company registered under the Companies’ Act 1956,

having registered office at 23/21, Gariahat Road, Kolkata-700029, was

and still is the absolute owner of the premises no. 25B, Park Street,

Kolkata-700016. The Plaintiff is also the absolute owner of other

premises being premises no. 21, 23, 25A, 27A, 27B, 29, 31, 33, 35, 37, 39,

43, 45, 47, 55 and 57 Park Street, Kolkata-700016. The aforesaid

premises are collectively owned as “Karnani Mansion”. There is a

compound situated inside Karnani Mansion and is part of it. The said

premises are occupied by various tenants and/or occupants for

residential as well as commercial purposes.
