The Mumbai Debate Open 2026 is an exciting online British Parliamentary debate tournament bringing together debaters from across the globe for two days of sharp, high-quality competition.
Open to debaters of all experience levels, with categories for Open, Novice, and School participants, the tournament offers a genuinely inclusive and competitive platform for the debate community.
With a stellar Motions Committee comprising internationally acclaimed names and a N=0 judge policy that removes the burden of bringing adjudicators, the Mumbai Debate Open is designed to be as accessible as it is competitive.

Eligibility
- The tournament is open to all debaters – university, novice, and school participants.
- Teams compete across three categories: Open, Novice, and School.
- No judge requirement – the N=0 policy means teams do not need to bring an adjudicator.
- Independent judges are also welcome to register separately.
