Ganapati Atharvasirsha Recitation
The Ganapati Atharvasirsha is a stotra dedicated to Lord Ganapati and is a very powerful hymn. This video recording is of my father Prof.Yajneshwar Shastri reciting the Ganapati Atharvashirsha mantra.
I will be posting different mantras, stotras and talks on Indic philosophy by my father Acharya Prof.Yajneshwar Shastri. My father studied in a traditional Sanskrit pathashala (school) till the age of 15 years. After completion of formal education he had a long career in academics till he retired as Professor and Director School of Psychology, Education and Philosophy, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, India. He is an internationally recognized scholar of Buddhism, Jainism and Hinduism. Post- retirement he was appointed Vice-Chancellor of Sanchi University of Buddhist-Indic Studies (SUBIS), Sanchi, India and he is currently Chancellor of SUBIS as well.
