Present: Mr. Prittam Singh Chandel, Advocate, for the appellant along
with Ms.Tanu Mohil Deputy Manger and Ms. Sunita Verma,
Assistant Manager are present in person.

Mr. Tek Chand, Advocate has stated that he has been duly
of
authorised by Smt. Mali wife of Neelak Kumar to appear before the National Lok
Adalat and compromise the matter.

The matter has been referred for determination to the National
Lok Adalat. Both the parties have voluntarily and amicably settled the matter with
their free consent, will, volition and without any undue influence or misrepresentation.
As per this settlement arrived at between the parties, reduce
amount of Rs.13,24,551/- along with proportionate interest from the date of deposit
will go to the claimant/respondent No.1 and balance amount of Rs.4,35,421/- along
with proportionate interest from the date of deposit shall go to the appellant/insurance
company.
Thus, in view of the final settlement arrived between the parties,
order passed by Commissioner under Employees Compensation Act, Chamba,
District Chamba, H.P in W.C. CIS Registration No.05 of 2015 dated 28.08.2023
accordingly stands modified to this extent.
Thus, in view of the aforesaid terms and conditions of the
settlement, the matter stands finally settled. The terms and conditions of the

settlement as above have been explained to the parties/counsel, which they have
accepted as correct and appended their signature in evidence of the settlement.
File be sent to the Registry of the Hon’ble High Court for doing
the needful/consignment.
