About Centre for Research in Competition Law & Policy
The Centre for Research in Competition Law & Policy (CRCLP) is a multidisciplinary research centre dedicated to advancing the study and understanding of competition law and policy. They undertake research on a wide range of topics, including market power, antitrust enforcement, regulatory policy, consumer protection, and innovation. They also offer training and education programs, engage in policy advocacy, and seek to inform the public debate on competition issues.
About the Speaker
The organisation is privileged to host Mr. Aditya Trivedi for this inaugural session. Mr. Aditya is a legal professional and policy expert with a specialized focus on Indian competition law and antitrust. He regularly appears before the Delhi High Court and CCI and various specialized fora, advising CEOs and corporate boards on complex regulatory matters.
He is the Founder of Weekly Podcast “In Conversation with IPR and Competition Law” which is India’s first Competition law podcast, having its presence in 90+ countries and included in the syllabus of HNLU, Raipur, and featured by global law firms like Baker McKenzie etc.
He has participated in the UN Conference on Competition Law and MSMEs and the Young Experts Conference by DG Comp, European Commission and the UNCTAD Inter-Governmental Group of Experts Conference on Competition Law and policy, among others.
His expertise spans critical facets of competition jurisprudence, including cartelization, digital markets, and the intersection of technology and antitrust—specifically, algorithmic collusion. In addition to his counsel practice, he serves on the boards of two non-profit organizations, bringing a strategic multi-disciplinary approach to competition advocacy and compliance.
He has organized Competition Law Town Halls with eminent competition law experts. He writes OpEds in national dailies and is also one of the first contributors to AI and antitrust; competition law analysis of G20 New Delhi declaration; competition law perspective on government’s equity in Vodafone Idea; competition law perspective of newly launched Bharat Taxi, etc.
