The Board of Directors of IIFL Finance Limited approved the appointment of Rupesh Samani as Head-Legal, a Senior Management Personnel of the Company effective January 23, according to the Company’s regulatory filing.
Rupesh Samani is a qualified Law Graduate and Company Secretary from India and UK, with over 26 years of Legal, Company Secretary and Compliance experience, joins the Company from JM Financial Products Ltd. where he worked as Director – Legal, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer for their Products Business.
Apart from JM Financial, Rupesh has held pivotal Legal roles in leading organizations like A.K. Capital Finance, Altius Finserv, HSBC Invest Direct Securities, Rabo India, BNP Paribas and Axis Bank.
The approval was on the basis of the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of the Company.
