1. This judgment shall dispose of a Criminal Revision Petition

filed against the judgment dated 02.08.2008 passed by the Court of Shri

L.N.Jindal, the then Addl.Sessions Judge, Kurukshetra (for brevity,

“Appellate Court”) by which an appeal filed by the respondent/accused

(for brevity, “accused”) was allowed and the judgment of conviction dated

12.10.2007 as well as order of sentence dated 15.10.2007 passed by the

then Learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kurukshetr
Kurukshetraa (for brevity,

“Magistrate”) thereby convicting and sentencing the accused for

commission of an offence under Section 16(1)(a)(i) of the Prevention of

Food Adulteration Act, 1954 (for brevity, “1954 Act”) was set aside and

the accused was acquitted of the charge framed against him.
