Pant trained with Yuvraj at the Brabourne Stadium, where the pair held extended batting sessions under lights as well as during the day. Yuvraj was closely involved through the drills, at times observing from the umpire’s position and offering technical feedback as Pant worked on expanding his range of strokes and fine-tuning his approach in the shortest format. The short but intensive stint reflected Pant’s effort to reset ahead of a fresh IPL season in which he will once again shoulder leadership responsibilities.

After the training block, Pant joined LSG’s pre-season preparations, where he addressed the squad in a team meeting, stressing on the importance of building a strong dressing-room culture early in the campaign.
“A lot of people are from last year. A few new faces for sure. Welcome, everyone. Let’s look to build the relationships. If we don’t talk about cricket, we’re not going to improve. As an individual, let’s take whatever we can from all these gentlemen here and try to build something for this season to look forward to,” Pant said in a video shared by the franchise on social media.
Pant also spoke about the need for clarity of roles as the team begins its preparations before the full squad assembles.
“When we come into a season, every time there is a thought in our mind that let’s build something; let’s look to win. But at the same time to be clear in your thought process, what do you want to do? What do you want to achieve as an individual and as a team… And this is the best time to have that clarity,” he said.
“This is kind of a season camp, but still a pre-season camp because the rest of the squad will join from March 15-16, mostly,” he added.
