1. Notice.
2. Ms. Monika Kohli, learned Senior AAG accepts notice on behalf of the
respondents.
3. With consent of learned counsel for the parties, this appeal is taken up for
final disposal.
4. The appellants had filed the writ petition for grant of following reliefs:-
“A. Certiorari seeking to quash the impugned notification no. 02 of
2024 issued by the respondent No. 2.
B. Mandamus seeking directions to the respondents to enhance the
prescribed upper age limit for direct recruitment against the post of
the Sub-Inspector from 28 years to 30 years in the light of the S.O. No.
62 dated 24th November, 2021 and also S.O. No. 420 dated
10.12.2021.
