About the Group
Sri Sukhmani Group of Institutes (SSGI) is a private non-profit institution of higher education based in Punjab. The institute is located in Derabassi, Mohali, and is a 10-minute drive away from Chandigarh. Established in 1972, it is one of the oldest educational institutions in Punjab.
SSGI offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses in the streams of Law, Engineering, Management, Nursing, Dental, Ayurvedic, Pharmacy, Hospitality, and Computer Applications. The institute is known for offering quality courses and striking a good balance between academic and practical education.
Through its educational programs, the institute envisions training professionals who work with the motto of “Service Before Self,” by taking a progressive and professional approach toward career enhancement.
About the Law College
Sri Sukhmani College of Law (SSCL) intends to provide students with an excellent teaching-learning experience and professional skills through a variety of learning opportunities. The campus is situated in a calm, peaceful, and pollution-free environment, best suited for academic pursuits.
Well-equipped classrooms, a Moot Court, a seminar hall, a library, a student centre for co-curricular activities, a computer lab, academic and administrative blocks, and other amenities provide world-class facilities and infrastructure, creating an ideal environment for learning, evolving, and growing.
Career counseling and career development programs, interaction with legal experts, Legal Aid Camps, and visits to Lok Adalats are regularly organized by the college to provide better exposure to students.
About the Conference
The International Conference on “Human Rights, Technology and Sustainable Development: Interdisciplinary Perspectives for a Changing World” seeks to bring together academicians, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and students from diverse disciplines to engage in meaningful dialogue on some of the most pressing issues of our time.
In today’s rapidly evolving global landscape, the intersection of human rights, technological advancements, and sustainable development poses both unprecedented opportunities and complex challenges.
This conference aims to explore how emerging technologies can be harnessed to strengthen human rights frameworks and promote inclusive, sustainable growth, while also addressing ethical dilemmas, governance concerns, and the risk of widening inequalities.
By adopting an interdisciplinary approach, the conference endeavors to foster innovative solutions that are not only legally sound but also socially just, technologically relevant, and environmentally responsible.
Through keynote addresses, plenary sessions, and paper presentations, the conference will serve as a platform to share knowledge, debate ideas, and encourage collaborative research.
