AbhiBus is an online bus-ticketing platform aggregating inventory from over 4,000 bus operators, including major State Road Transport Corporations (SRTCs), covering more than 3.5 lakh routes across India. The platform enables users to compare fares, check amenities, track buses live, and access cancellation protection options.
AbhiBus is owned and operated by ixigo (Le Travenues Technology Limited), an online travel aggregator offering train, flight, bus, and hotel bookings through its platforms – ixigo, ConfirmTkt, and AbhiBus.
About the Job
AbhiBus is hiring for the position of Executive – Legal.
The role involves supporting commercial legal operations, contract management, dispute handling, and regulatory compliance while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized university
- 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in corporate/commercial legal work
- Prior experience in a law firm or in-house legal team (preferably in tech/e-commerce/platform companies)
- Strong contract drafting and analytical skills
- Good understanding of contract law and commercial transactions
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements including:
- Vendor agreements
- Service agreements
- API integration agreements
- Marketing agreements
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Supporting operator/vendor onboarding from a legal and documentation perspective
- Assisting in maintaining and updating platform legal documents such as:
- Terms & Conditions
- Privacy Policy
- Refund/Cancellation Policies
- Providing legal support to Business, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations teams
- Drafting replies to legal notices and assisting in consumer or vendor disputes
- Coordinating with external counsel for litigation and legal proceedings
- Maintaining contract trackers, legal documentation records, and dispute trackers
- Reviewing marketing campaigns and promotional activities for legal compliance
