About the Organisation

Simran Khurana is an Advocate practicing before the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court, and District Courts across New Delhi. Her practice involves representing individuals, businesses, and institutions in a wide spectrum of civil and criminal matters, with particular experience in Negotiable Instruments Act litigation (Section 138), matrimonial and family disputes, and criminal proceedings, including cases under special statutes such as the POCSO Act.

Her experience spans multiple stages of litigation, including legal strategy, research, drafting of pleadings, complaints, petitions, applications, and legal notices, as well as appearances before courts and tribunals. She regularly represents clients before various judicial and quasi-judicial bodies, including:

  • Consumer Forums
  • Labour Authorities
  • Administrative forums such as the Office of the Divisional Commissioner

Her practice also includes legal documentation, contract drafting and vetting, and advisory on dispute management and settlement strategies. Her work is driven by a strong focus on advocacy, meticulous drafting, and practical, client-focused dispute resolution.

Eligibility / Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Students in the 4th or 5th year of a 5-year LL.B. course (or final year of a 3-year LL.B. programme)
  • Strong interest in litigation and court practice
  • Good research and drafting skills
  • Serious and committed candidates

Main Responsibilities

Selected interns will be involved in:

  • Legal research and case law analysis
  • Assisting in drafting pleadings, applications, complaints, and legal notices
  • Supporting ongoing litigation matters
  • Gaining exposure to court proceedings and case preparation

Work from Home / Hybrid

Duration of Internship

The duration will be subject to the performance of the intern.
