CGSC Mr Mukul Singh, Delhi High Court

January 2026

I applied through email.

It’s was good.

During the course of the internship, I was assigned a variety of tasks that helped me understand the practical functioning of the legal profession.

My work mainly included attending court hearings, observing courtroom proceedings, and assisting in briefing matters to seniors. I was also involved in drafting basic legal documents such as applications, notices, and case summaries under guidance.

In addition, I assisted in translation work, especially converting legal content from one language to another, which improved my legal vocabulary and comprehension.

I was occasionally asked to conduct legal research on specific issues and case laws, which helped me apply theoretical knowledge to real situations.

Overall, the tasks assigned were diverse and contributed significantly to my practical learning.

The work environment at the internship was professional, cooperative, and encouraging. Seniors and colleagues were approachable and always willing to clarify doubts. There was a strong culture of peer learning, where interns supported and learned from each other while working on assignments.

The office atmosphere promoted discipline, punctuality, and respect, which helped me develop professional ethics. Despite the workload, the environment remained positive and motivating.

Regular discussions on cases and legal issues created an intellectually stimulating atmosphere, making it easier to understand complex legal concepts.

Overall, the work environment played an important role in making the internship a productive and comfortable learning experience.

One of the best aspects of the internship was the exposure to court proceedings, which allowed me to understand how the law functions in practice. Observing hearings helped bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-life application.

I also learned how to coordinate with seniors, clients, and fellow interns in a professional manner. The guidance provided during drafting and briefing enhanced my confidence and skills. Additionally, the internship helped improve my communication, time management, and legal research abilities.

The experience gave me clarity about courtroom procedures and professional responsibilities, making it a valuable learning opportunity.

There were no significant negative aspects of the internship. The experience was largely positive and educational. While the workload could be demanding at times, it contributed to learning and professional growth.

Any challenges faced were part of the learning process and helped in building adaptability and resilience. Overall, there was nothing that could be considered a drawback.

Not Applicable

Commuting to the office was convenient as I traveled mainly via metro. The metro connectivity made daily travel time-efficient, affordable, and comfortable. It also helped me maintain punctuality despite long distances.

Since the office was well-connected to public transport, commuting did not pose any major difficulty. I did not require separate accommodation arrangements for the internship.
