Mr. Nilabja Majumder, a Fourth Year BA LLB (Hons) student of the National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) Kolkata, won the European Aviation Law Association (EALA) Essay Competition 2025. In the last eighteen years of this most prestigious aviation law essay competition’s history, he stands as the first student from an Indian university to win it. As an invited speaker with full EALA financial support, he presented his essay at the 37th EALA Conference in Vienna in the presence of global aviation law experts.
