The Bacardi NH7 Weekender is coming back in December for the 14th season!  As usual they’ve got a new venue and the theme this year is #ItsAMood.

Have you been waiting for the” happiest music festival”? Well, then count the days until December 1. The NH7 Weekender is returning this year in Pune from December 1 to 3. The festival will be held at Pune’s Teerth Fields as announced by the organisers on September 20.

For its 14th edition with the theme #ItsAMood, the festival aims to glorify the spirit of community, discovery and celebration. Endorsed as India’s happiest music festival and a hub for the discovery of artists, this edition of NH7 Weekender will not only showcase emerging artists live but also feature an impressive line-up of international performers and include Gen Z talents, marking an exciting new phase in the fest’s evolution.

According to a press release, “NH7 Weekender 2023 will host over 45 homegrown and international artistes over three days, with an eclectic assortment of genres such as metal, rock, pop, hip-hop, electronic, funk, Punjabi, and more spanning across four stages.”

According to Akshat Rathee, the Co-Founder & Managing Director of NODWIN Gaming, the festival’s goal is to promote a sense of unity among the community by bringing together music, gaming, food, and art. There will be a vast gaming area that perfectly blends music and gaming, providing a unique experience to all festival-goers.

Attendees will also get to enjoy well-crafted attractions like Ferris wheel rides, curated culinary delights, drinks, a flea market, and art installations.

In uplifting the spirit of community, this year’s event will prioritize inclusivity and gender equality. The line-up will feature a significant number of female artists, and the festival design team will be led by renowned artist Osheen Siva. To ensure inclusivity beyond the stage, there will be safety tents, gender-neutral washrooms, and frisking lines. These measures are intended to create a welcoming and safe environment for all attendees. Thus NH7 Weekender promises to live up to its legacy of being more than just a music festival.

Apart from creating the mood of celebration, the organisers will ensure environmental sustainability at the festival by recycling, composting, donating, and reusing 90% of waste materials.

Being the longest-running multi-genre festival, the NH7 Weekender has a huge following and attendees among the youth. This platform provides many opportunities for independent musicians, singers, creators, and stand-up comedians to showcase their talent and potentially make future collaborations. The festival has also been responsible for discovering several artists who have gone on to achieve national and global success. What sets the Bacardi NH7 Weekender apart is its focus on sustainability, gender equality, and inclusivity, reflecting the emergence of a morally conscious youth of India.
