Guest Lecture I by Ms. R. V. Anuradha (Partner, Clarus Law Associates, New Delhi)
On 6th March at 2.00 p.m., Ms. R. V. Anuradha, Partner at Clarus Law Associates, will be delivering a lecture titled “In the Name of ‘Environment’: The Evolving Landscape of Unilateral Measures Affecting Trade.” The lecture aims at providing insights into the intersection of global commerce and sustainability. It also promises a nuanced exploration of how environmental regulatory measures have been instrumental in reshaping trade policies and challenging legal frameworks.
Ms. R. V. Anuradha co-founded Clarus Law Associates in 2007, and has worked with both the Government as well as the Private Sector on trade, investments, regulatory, and policy matters. She has also served as an external faculty for several prestigious institutions, including the World Trade Institute, the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), and the National Law University Odisha (NLUO).
With these diverse engagements across practise and academia, she brings with her a uniquely informed perspective of contemporary trade laws. Her insights are certainly going to enrich the discourse and leave the audience with much to reflect upon.

Guest Lecture II by Mr. Sanjay Notani (Partner, Economics Laws Practice, Mumbai)
On 7th March at 2.00 p.m., Mr. Sanjay Notani, Partner at Economic Laws Practice (ELP), shall deliver a lecture on “The Intersection of Geopolitics and Trade.” The lecture will explore how geopolitical tensions, supply chain realignments, development concerns, and domestic economic priorities intersect with WTO obligations and reform debates.
It promises a nuanced and insightful examination of India’s evolving role within the global trading system, offering valuable perspectives for students and practitioners interested in international trade law, economic policy, and global governance.
Mr. Sanjay Notani co-heads the International Trade and Customs practise at ELP. With over two decades of experience, he has advised and represented domestic manufacturers, multinational corporations, exporters, and trade associations in complex trade remedy litigation, WTO disputes, and customs-related matters. Mr. Sanjay Notani’s perspective will undoubtedly lend depth and distinction to the session.
