About Career Point University, Hamirpur
Career Point University is located at the birthplace of Padma Bhushan Shri Yash Pal Ji, a revolutionary hero of India’s freedom struggle and an acclaimed author who worked alongside Sardar Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru, making immense contributions to the nation. Established in 2012 through an Act of the State Legislature, Career Point University.
Hamirpur is a State Private University with a mandate encompassing Academics, Research, Innovation, and Community Service. The University is UGC approved/recognised, NAAC accredited, ranked under ARIIA-MOE, Government of India (in the Promising Band, alongside NIT Hamirpur), and is a proud member of AIU, Delhi.
About the Competition
School of Legal Studies and Governance has started the National Moot Court Series from 2018 and in continuation of this 7th Moot Court Competition has been scheduled.
The department has excellent record of having teams from reputed institutions like Asian Law College, Noida, Uttaranchal University, Uttarakhand, Christ (Deemed to be University) Delhi, Symbiosis Law School, Pune, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, National Law University, Shimla etc.
Eligibility
Students pursuing 5 years integrated law program (BALLB, B.Com.LLB, B.Sc.LLB etc.) or 3 years law program (LLB) are eligible to participate in this competition. An institute may send maximum of two teams for participation in the Competition.
