has confirmed that the construction has been made
upon the petitioner’s raiyati land confirming the alleged
encroachment. The Circle Officer, by order dated 21.02.2025,
found the petitioner’s grievance to be genuine. Despite having
full knowledge of the petitioner’s lawful title and possession,
the respondents illegally interfered with his peaceful possession,
uprooted the standing Rabi crops over about one katha, and
attempted to dispossess him without any legal proceeding or
show cause, causing serious loss to the petitioner, a farmer by
occupation, whose family has been in peaceful possession of the
land for decades.
