1. The present petitions have been instituted under Section 528 of the
Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 [“BNSS”] (corresponding to
Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973), seeking quashing
of two cross-FIRs, alongwith all consequential proceedings arising
therefrom, namely:
(i) FIR No. 300/2025 dated 30.04.2025, registered at Police
Station Shahbad Dairy, for offence punishable under Section
79 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 [“BNS”] and Section
67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 [“IT Act”],
which forms the subject matter of CRL.M.C. 5282/2025; and
