About the Organizer
The Publication and Seminar Committee is committed to enabling aspiring “legal eagles” to develop mastery in research, analysis, and the expression of legal knowledge.
The committee is structured into three specialised departments: Content Research & Reporting, Public Relations, and Design, each entrusted with distinct responsibilities to ensure the success of academic initiatives. Historically, the committee has managed prestigious publications, including the bi-annual magazine SOLstice and the monthly legal newsletter Thirty: The Legal Gauge.
Recently, these efforts have expanded to include a forthcoming legal blog, providing a dynamic platform for the legal fraternity to share opinions on contemporary issues. Athena 4.0 represents the committee’s continued aspiration to bridge the gap between technological or economic advancement and societal well-being.
About the Event
Athena 4.0, our upcoming National Conference dated 17th March, 2026, that is to be conducted in hybrid mode, is envisioned as a platform to bring together forward-thinking minds to engage in meaningful discussions on the intersection of labour law reforms within the broader constitutional framework of India. The theme of Athena 4.0 is: “LABOUR LAWS IN INDIA: RIGHTS, REFORMS AND THE CHANGING WORLD OF WORK”.
Through Athena 4.0, we aim to foster dialogue on pivotal topics, such as how the rapid growth of gig and platform-based employment challenges traditional employer–employee binaries, thereby creating regulatory grey zones and exposing workers to precarity without adequate legal safeguards.
Eligibility
The conference welcomes students duly enrolled in and pursuing an undergraduate law programme, academicians, and other legal professionals.
