1. The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 528 of
the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (“BNSS”) [corresponding
to Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (“CrPC”)],
seeking the quashing of FIR No. 255/2016, dated 16.06.2016, registered
at Police Station Kalyanpuri, under Sections 341, 354, 354(D), 506 and
509 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 [“IPC”], together with all
proceedings arising therefrom, on the ground that the dispute between the
parties has been amicably settled.
