Role Overview
The Course Developer & Teaching Faculty will design and deliver a practice-oriented Labour Law course focused on drafting, compliance workflows, and dispute resolution.
The role involves creating structured modules, simulations, assignments, and assessment frameworks, while conducting interactive live sessions and providing detailed feedback.
The candidate must translate real-world labour law experience into practical, skill-based learning that prepares learners for litigation, in-house advisory, and compliance roles.
Eligibility Criteria – Course Developer
This person will design the structure, assignments, simulations, templates, and assessment framework.
A. Essential Qualifications
- LL.B. (mandatory)
- LL.M. in Labour/Industrial Law (preferred but not mandatory)
- 3–7+ years of practical experience in:
- Labour litigation
- Industrial dispute handling
- HR compliance advisory
- Corporate labour compliance
- Trade union negotiations
- POSH advisory
B. Practical Experience Requirements
Must have demonstrable experience in:
- Drafting:
- Employment contracts
- Standing Orders
- Show-cause notices
- Charge sheets
- Domestic enquiry documentation
- Termination letters
- Handling proceedings before:
- Labour Courts
- Industrial Tribunals
- Conciliation Officers
- Working knowledge of relevant Labour Laws
C. Pedagogical & Curriculum Skills
- Experience in course design / workshop design
- Ability to:
- Break theory into applied modules
- Create simulations
- Design practical assignments
- Create compliance checklists & templates
- Prior teaching/webinar experience preferred
- Experience with LMS platforms (bonus)
D. Soft Skills
- Structured thinking
- Clear writing skills

2. Eligibility Criteria – Teaching Faculty
This person should be able to translate practice into learning.
A. Practice Exposure (Must Have)
At least 2–3 of the following:
- Appeared before Labour Court/Industrial Tribunal
- Conducted domestic enquiries
- Advised on layoffs, retrenchment, closure
- Negotiated settlements
- Handled compliance audits
- Worked with factories/ESI/PF inspections
- Assisted companies in transition to Labour Codes
B. Teaching & Delivery Skills
- Prior teaching / training / corporate training experience
- Comfortable with live interactive sessions
- Ability to:
- Take case-based discussions
- Conduct document-drafting workshops
- Give feedback on assignments
- Handle Q&A confidently
3. Optional but High-Value Additions
You may prefer candidates with:
- Experience in corporate law firms (labour team)
- In-house legal head experience
- Experience working with factories or manufacturing units
- Experience in gig economy / platform worker issues
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Practical Content Development
Develop highly practical reading modules, recorded lectures, and drafting exercises on:
- Employment contracts
- Show-cause notices
- Charge sheets
- Termination letters
- Settlement agreements
- Other important agreements/documents
2. Live Session Delivery
- Conduct interactive live sessions (90-120 minutes long)
- Use practical case studies instead of pure theory
- Take students through real documents and drafting examples
3. Assignment Design, Assessment, and Feedback
- Design practical drafting assignments
- Evaluate assignments and provide detailed, structured, and personalised feedback
Requirements
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to commit to doing weekly, time-bound sessions at a time of mutual convenience
- A passion for teaching
Time Commitment
- Sessions are held on weekdays (7-8:30 PM) or Sundays (11 AM-12:30 PM)
- Our sessions require strict adherence to the mutually decided schedule
Compensation
- Rs. 2000 -Rs. 4000 per session (based on experience and subject area)
- Additional honorarium for assignment review, if taken.
