Founded on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s vision that education must be free, fearless, and transformative, the Institute of Excellence in Research and Law (I.E.R.L.) began as a single online Constitution class and has evolved into a national academic community.
About the Event
The Institute of Excellence in Research and Law (IERL) invites applications for GOAT 2026, a thematic, research-intensive internship and constitutional dialogue programme aimed at developing deep constitutional understanding, research discipline, and critical thinking.
GOAT 2026 is designed for law students, UPSC and judiciary aspirants, researchers, and serious constitutional learners who wish to move beyond surface-level reading and engage with the Indian Constitution as a living and transformative document.
Nature of Programme
This is a research-centric academic initiative, not a clerical or attendance-based internship. Participants will actively engage in:
- Writing thematic and analytical essays
- Reading, reviewing, and critically discussing research papers, constitutional texts, and landmark judgments
- Participating in weekly constitutional dialogue sessions
- Drafting and submitting research papers on assigned constitutional themes
- Developing skills in legal reasoning, argumentation, and academic writing
The programme strongly emphasises original thought, doctrinal clarity, and critical constitutional engagement.
