You know that real friends speak truth to power. Accepting that reality can be difficult, especially for someone who appears to have had no close friends or family in his entire life.
Some of Donald Trump’s best friends in government—half the Republicans on the Supreme Court—warned him the only way they could: with an emphatic 6-3 NO VOTE on his global tariff plans. Chief Justice John Roberts wrote the decision, perhaps rethinking his previous legal immunity gift to Trump was a mistake.
The President of the United States is in mental, physical, and emotional, distress. We see it, we hear it, and we understand he is driving the nation down the road to perdition.
If what we’ve seen for the past few days is any indication, his State of the Union Speech tonight will be Must Watch TV.
The President’s actions in this first year of Term 2 have shattered the federal government, except for the military, which is poised to start a war with Iran, a massive fleet parked off two of Iran’s coasts.
Meanwhile America’s East Coast is digging out of a massive snowstorm following very cold conditions, which has people asking, why does this President call climate change a hoax?
Confusion and chaos are in the DNA of everything this administration does. Recently, a US submarine operating in the Arctic Ocean had a medical emergency involving a sailor. Because of international cooperation and competence it surfaced to rendezvous with a Danish helicopter that took the sailor to a hospital in Nuk, Greenland.
Trump has been trash talking Greenland and its relationship with Denmark for months. This must account for how in the twists and turns of the White House brain trust, Trump confused the story with the idea we must send a Navy hospital ship to Greenland. Yes, the Navy has two hospital ships. Both are simultaneously in dry dock undergoing maintenance.
You just can’t make this stuff up if you are a normal, thinking person, and it boggles the mind attacking Supreme Court justices. This court has leaned over backwards to say yes on most issues involving Trump and regulations. The justices have big egos at the top of the legal profession.
Posting Monday on TruthSocial, his social network, Trump’s full quote was: “The supreme court (will be using lower case letters for a while based on a complete lack of respect!*) of the United States accidentally and unwittingly gave me, as President of the United States, far more powers and strength than I had prior to their ridiculous, dumb, and very internationally divisive ruling.”
SCOTUS Justices HAVE LONG MEMORIES (as their biographies make clear). They have lifetime terms. These are not people you want as enemies.
