About the Competition:

The Master Dayanand National Moot Court Competition 2026 is the flagship initiative of Sanskaram University’s School of Law & Legal Studies. Designed to promote excellence in advocacy, research, and constitutional reasoning, the competition provides law students with a realistic courtroom experience.

This year’s moot proposition engages participants with critical issues of privacy, dignity, and accountability in the digital age, requiring analysis of constitutional principles, statutory law, and contemporary challenges.


Theme:

Right to Privacy and Dignity in the Digital Age

Key issues include:

  • Violation of privacy and dignity under Article 21 of the Constitution of India
  • Digital vigilantism, online harassment, and media trials
  • Liability of individuals and platforms under the IT Act, 2000
  • Criminal responsibility under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023
  • Aviation law, passenger rights, and consumer protection
  • Constitutional remedies and state accountability
