Acting under Section 255(2) of Cr.P.C.,
accused is held guilty and convicted for the
offence punishable under Section 138 of
Negotiable Instruments Act.
Accused is sentenced to pay a fine of
₹6,50,000/-. In default to pay fine, accused
shall undergo simple imprisonment for a
period of four months.
Out of the realized fine amount, a sum of
₹6,40,000/- is ordered to be paid to the
complainant as compensation and the
remaining sum of ₹10,000/- shall be defrayed
to State.
Bail bonds executed by accused shall
stand cancelled.
