First-day Formalities, Infrastructure, First Impression
Quite good.
Main Tasks
I have attended all matters, such as civil and criminal matters, and observed arguments in the courtroom, basically, how judges grant bail. I have also seen more cases of cheque bounce.
Work Environment
The work environment was collaborative, welcoming, and well-structured. From the first day, the team made it easy to integrate by offering clear guidance and regular check-ins. Seniors were approachable and open to questions, which created a supportive learning culture.
The office atmosphere balanced professionalism with comfort—team members communicated openly, encouraged new ideas, and valued everyone’s input.
I especially appreciated the balance between independent tasks and teamwork, which helped me build confidence while also learning from more experienced colleagues.
Good Things about the Internship
One of the best aspects of the internship was the exposure to real, impactful work. I was trusted with meaningful tasks that helped me build practical skills rather than just observing from the sidelines.
The mentorship was also a major highlight, as team leads provided constructive feedback and took the time to explain concepts in detail. Additionally, I gained hands-on experience with tools and processes that are highly relevant in the industry.
The internship also helped me develop soft skills like communication, time management, and adaptability. Overall, it was a rewarding and growth-oriented experience.
Bad Things about the Internship
There were very few downsides. At times, communication gaps caused slight delays, and some tasks required more clarity at the beginning. A more structured onboarding plan could have made the initial days smoother. Apart from that, the experience was largely positive.
Monthly Stipend
Rs. 12000/-
Details about the Accommodation, Commuting to the Office
I stayed in comfortable shared accommodation located about 20–30 minutes from the office. The space was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with essential amenities, which made settling in easy.
The neighborhood was safe and had convenient access to grocery stores, cafes, and public transport.
Anything else you want to share?
To unwind, I spent time exploring local cafés, going on short walks, and hanging out with other interns. I learned the importance of asking questions early, managing expectations, and keeping communication clear when collaborating.
The experience also reminded me how valuable it is to balance productivity with rest, as taking breaks often helped me return with better ideas and more energy.
