The Excise Sub-Inspector of J.P.Nagar Police Station,

Bengaluru has filed Police Report against the accused

alleging that he has committed the offences punishable under

Sections 11, 14, 32(1) and 38(4) of Karnataka Excise Act,

1965.

2. The Prosecution case in brief is that on 21.12.2020 at

5.40 p.m., when the informant was in his office, he got

credible information that the accused was illegally

transporting the liquor without any valid license and permit

near Marenahalli 18th Cross, Bengaluru. The informant

immediately had been to the place along with the panch

witnesses CW2 and CW3 and also along with his staff CW4.

They have caught hold of this accused when he was trying to

transport the liquors in his bike. CW1 has conducted

panchanama in the presence of CW2 and CW3 and also

seized the TVS Excel 100 vehicle bearing its No.KA-01-KH-

0445 along with 8 bottles containing liquors of branded

“Singnature”. CW1 had been to the Police Station and lodged

the information against the accused.
