About the Course on Capital Market Transactions: Law & Practice [IPOs, QIPs & Rights Issues]

A Practitioner’s Perspective is an 10 class intensive course offering law students and professionals a hands-on understanding of how equity capital market transactions are executed in leading law firms. 

The course covers the entire lifecycle of equity offerings – from kick-off to listing – including Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), Hybrid Securities, Qualified Institutional Placements (QIPs), and Rights Issues.

Participants will explore how law firm lawyers handle legal due diligence, regulatory compliance, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and drafting across each stage of an equity deal. This practitioner-led training mirrors real transaction timelines and challenges, helping you build job-ready skills that are highly valued in capital markets practice.
